CCC Service Corporation (CCCSC) is the Technology and Financial Administration service provider that assists in the administration of the Master Contract between United States Maritime Alliance LTD. (USMX) and the International Longshoremen's Association (ILA) in all container ports from Maine to Texas.
CCCSC's expertise is in developing, hosting, and maintaining customized applications that are required to administer the Master Contract.
CCC’s Enterprise Management System is a mission-critical, 24-7 system used by CCC Staff, along with users from Ports along the east coast. Key components of the system include collecting Man Hours, tracking lost time, and analyzing all data in the system.
The legacy system was based in Oracle Forms with an Oracle database back end. CCC wanted to move the enterprise away from Oracle to take advantage of the cost benefits of the Microsoft platform and modernize its various features in the process.
The new system is designed to be highly flexible, and able to adjust quickly to changes and modifications that are frequently required based on changes to ILA agreements. In addition, RDA delivered a BI solution that allowed executives to quickly analyze Man Hours data.
Drawing on RDA’s experience in developing similar solutions for the marine industry, the RDA team worked with CCC to document the project vision, business requirements, and technical requirements for the new system.
RDA then worked with CCC to develop an application that enables users to provide coast-wide Man Hours data, analyze that data in a custom BI solution (CCC Staff), collect Lost Time data, and access associated reports for all data in the system including Tonnage. In addition, RDA migrated an Oracle-based image collection and tracking database to a lesser cost, simpler Azure File Storage solution.
CCC Service Corporation was founded on July 1, 2002 as a Technology and Financial Administration service provider, assisting in the administration of the Master Contract between United States Maritime Alliance LTD.
