Website overhaul leads to significant improvement in brand recognition and web presence for client.

Headquartered in the Atlanta area, the client is a global manufacturer of personal care products and accessories. These goods are then sold to commercial businesses such as airports, hotels, restaurant chains, malls and department stores.

Soon after launching a newly designed United States regional website on the Sitecore platform, the client began to experience a series of challenges. The marketing team reported a loss of brand recognition due to worsening Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Traffic leading back to their website plummeted. There were also difficulties in creating and publishing content such as forms and landing pages.

Due to a reputation of taking on the most challenging Sitecore projects and consistently delivering on promises, RDA was brought in to perform a Sitecore assessment. The RDA team worked with the customer to review their data, architecture, hosting environment, website and business processes. After performing our analysis, we presented a roadmap, describing where the client is on their digital journey, where they want to be and how they’re going to get there.

RDA remained involved as advisors in the client’s website overhaul in the following months. We were then chosen to not only revamp the company’s United States regional website, but their global website as well. With a fragmented global web presence as a result of regional sites being constructed on different platforms, the manufacturer choose to start from scratch by engaging RDA to design an entirely new architecture on Sitecore 9.1

The customer’s new web presence is not only more unified and consistent across the regions of deployment, but it includes a myriad of new features such as a multilingual architecture, empowering the marketing team to launch their site in multiple languages. RDA also constructed global search results, allowing for new search and recommendation functionalities such as the autocompletion of search text, powered by Coveo for Sitecore. Other exciting new features include enhanced SEO and integrations with Salesforce Pardot, to name a few.

The client went from working with multiple, disjointed websites to having a single, modern and unified web presence. Through having the ability to deliver a cohesive web experience, the manufacturing giant will be able to strengthen its global branding. SEO is also expected to improve. Training was provided to the client, allowing their team to make changes to the website whenever necessary while being able to operate independently.
