This role reports to the Director of Digital Solutions and is a key member of RDA's Digital Solutions team which is responsible for all pre-sales activities and thought leadership for our Digital Sales and Marketing (DSM) services.


  • Demonstrate technical leadership for RDA, setting and impacting the technical direction within delivery teams and driving change
  • Architect DXP implementations, primarily using Sitecore, Optimizely (formerly Episerver), Azure, and Salesforce
  • Participate in the full cycle of presale activities, including RFP responses, proposal and presentation development and delivery, direct communications and relationship building with potential and existing clients
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations to senior leadership in marketing and IT to challenge the current state and offer solutions that impact revenue
  • Establish solution architecture for new Digital Sales and Marketing (DSM) project efforts and present to a variety of stakeholders both technical, non-technical
  • Craft complex estimates for large digital transformation projects individually and/or with the feedback of SMEs on the delivery team 
  • Devise effective staffing allocations for a variety of services across advisory, build, and optimization services
  • Engage in billable activities on select projects, such as Roadmap Creation, technology and platform evaluation, and the Discovery/Solution Architecture phases of projects where continued engagement by the Principal Solution Architect is critical to the success of the customer. Goal would be for 50-60% of your time being focused around non-billable, presales activities with the remainder being spent as part of the project team.
  • Mentor and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications, and keeping consistent with the RDA Point-of-view
  • Drive common vision, practices and capabilities across teams
  • Assist Account Executives and Digital Strategists in the definition and delivery of Customer Success Programs and plans
  • Knowledge transfer of strategic output to Project Managers and monitor initial project outputs for accuracy
  • Grow engagement of Digital Strategy team across client accounts to drive additional revenues across our Advisory, Design & Build, and Optimization services, with the goal of adding additional SME’s to the team.
  • Evaluate industry needs and partner evangelism to develop new workshops, offers, IP, and go-to-markets.
  • Stay current in emerging technology trends and evangelize via internal communications lunch-and-learns and townhalls
  • Be a thought leader in the partner communities and the industry, by evangelizing via Blogs, Webinars, etc
  • Owns technical IP creation and POCs using resources on the bench to drive revenue and sales wins back to RDA, and validate new architectures and solutions


  • Understands the design and delivery implications of Digital Experience and Commerce Platforms, with an emphasis around Sitecore. Specifically, has a Sitecore Solution Architecture experience and background
  • Current experience leading strategic planning engagements utilizing Sitecore, Optimizely/Episerver or other enterprise DXP and/or e-Commerce (B2B /B2C) or Marketing Automation and Management tools
  • Experience working with and architecting highly scalable, performant, and mission critical architectures
  • Experience with formal software development processes and methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
  • A technologist at their core but also understands the business impact of these tools and platforms and can communicate to customer stakeholders from a business consulting perspective
  • Proven leadership and customer communication skills; comfortable interacting with C-level stakeholders as well as dealing with challenging customer circumstances
  • Sitecore or Optimizely (formerly Episerver) thought leader in the community

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Martech


  • BS Degree in a related technical field of study
  • Project Manager experience having directly managed project plans, backlogs, budget, people, and scope
  • Platform MVP and/or related industry awards
  • CRM Experience  
  • Technical certifications on core RDA platforms: Sitecore, Optimizely, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc.
