Account Executive Solution Focus: 

Digital Experience Platforms (DXP), Commerce Platforms, and Microsoft Technology Solutions (Southeast Region)

RDA Account Executives are responsible for developing business within their territory and industry focus, be it Manufacturing/Distribution/Retail or Professional and Financial Services. We are growing, so new customer acquisition is the name of the game and the primary responsibility, but the management and strategic leadership of existing customer accounts within the territory is also key to success in the role. RDA Account Executives are supported by a phenomenal Marketing and Business Development team, as well as a Digital Engineering team for pre-sales assistance. We execute Account-Based Marketing strategies in identifying and gaining access to new accounts in our industries of focus. This position entails responsibility for the full spectrum of the customer relationship, from lead identification/qualification to support of our CSP to achieve ongoing value and ROI for our customers

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling complex Marketing and IT services to C-level, directors/managers of Marketing and IT with a track record of successful achievement of past sales quotas
  • 4 year degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Information Management, or other technology-related fields
  • Must be a highly skilled, energetic, and self-motivated sales professional; no hand-holding needed to succeed
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about how Marketing and IT Technology platforms and services can both help customers grow revenue and improve margins across their business
  • Experience in consultative selling into RDA's key verticals of Manufacturing/Distribution/Retail and Professional and Financial Services
  • Responsible for developing an annual target, business plan, and account strategies that will ensure hitting target numbers and desired growth
  • Can identify new business and guide through all phases of the sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, proposing, negotiating and closing business 
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements and propose an appropriate solution by articulating the value proposition clearly and concisely 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with all levels within an organization 
  • Must be willing to provide field insights and work as part of an team to develop and deliver data-driven industry campaigns to help drive engagement and sales

  • Must be willing to travel to trade shows, partner conferences and clients/prospects as needed; can include evenings and occasional weekends. This is assuming conditions are deemed safe for travel again based on CDC recommendations, as well as RDA and customer policies.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience selling exact or equivalent RDA offering types – Advisory, Design & Build, and Optimization Services
  • Experience selling exact or equivalent RDA project types – Digital Experience, Commerce, Content Lifecycle Management, Customer 360, Enterprise Modernization, and Marketing Automation solutions
  • Experience selling RDA business platforms: Microsoft 365, Sitecore, Optimizely (formerly Episerver), Salesforce, UiPath, and Coveo
  • Challenger Selling training and mentality
