We are growing! RDA Company, LLC is in search of a Staff Accountant to work in our beautifully modernized office headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD. 

In this full-time position, you will be an integral contributor to our Accounting and Finance team, assuring the accuracy of our general ledger, financial statements and monthly forecasts, preparing operational reports distributed directly to management, assuring that expenditures are authorized and in-line with annual budgets, and serving as a communication hub between Accounting and the entire organization. This is a truly exciting opportunity for the candidate that is looking to grow their career and have an impact on our success.


  • Assist Accounting Team with all aspects of month-end close, including the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements (such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements)
  • Manage corporate expenditures to budgets, including the processing of accounts payable and payroll transactions, ensuring that all requirements and deadlines are met, processes are efficient, and internal controls are operating effectively
  • Issue projections to the management team summarizing current and projected financial position
  • Facilitate annual financial audits by serving as company liaison with auditors
  • Ensure electronic timecards are properly captured and compliant with corporate policy, driving accurate payrolls and client billings
  • Monitor all active client projects, making sure they are covered by valid contracts
  • Produce financial data and ad-hoc financial information for the management team upon request, leveraging G/L detail and business metrics


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • 0-3 years of experience in auditing, accounting, and/or other financial roles
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and O365 Products required, MS Dynamics Great Plains a plus
  • Demonstrate personal drive, ability to work independently and proactively, and the desire for continuous improvement
