This position is expected to take RDA's relatively new managed services business to the next level. Blending a mix of strong operational and managerial capabilities with good selling skills, our managed services leader will be expected to build on our current base of business and create exceptional value for our customers through the creation of new services. RDA's objective is to create a long lasting relationship with customers for whom we have built applications by bringing exceptional value as we manage and enhance those applications in the cloud.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of strong operational experience in a systems integration or technical service provider market. Substantial experience managing the provision of services for clients, managing expectations and adjusting to market needs is a key for this role. Experience with Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) capabilities is important.
Establish the practice's processes for handling both application and infrastructural issues including Level 1 support and escalation
Manage and act as a liaison with potential partner service providers
Support the sales process for selling to and winning new customers
Communicate well with external customers and internal teams by actively listening to user problems and conveying commitment toward finding a timely resolution of the issue
Display excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to produce professional correspondence and documentation
Develop new services that enhance the value-add of the services we provide for our customers
Manage and nurture partner relationships third party products we are managing for our customers to increase reseller revenue
Lead and manage cloud services team which provides support directly to customer end users and the internal support team, including running weekly cloud services project status meetings
Manage customer migration and on-boarding with other internal departments
Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
