RDA is in search of a new intern to join our IT team for the spring 2019 semester. As an IT intern, you will assist with desktop support and other duties in the Infrastructure Team as needed. Your responsibilities will grow with you throughout the course of the internship. This is a paid position requiring 15-20 hours each week, with plenty of flexibility to accommodate your class schedule. For the right candidate, this internship has the potential to become a full-time Systems Engineer after graduation.
Provide first level end-support for desktop hardware and software issues for on-site and remote employees
Install and configure new hardware for employees
Candidate will gain exposure to Windows Server, Active Directory account maintenance, Hyper-V Hypervisor and Server Virtualization, Equalogic Storage, Skype for Business Server, and Office 365.
Other tasks as assigned by the Manager for Information Systems
Currently working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technology degree
Candidates should be a Junior or Senior in college
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware and software related issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal engagement and customer service skills
