RDA is in search of a new intern to join our HR and Operations team for the fall 2019 semester. The HR intern will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of our HR department, and your work will grow with you throughout the course of the internship.
This is a paid opportunity requiring 20-25 hours each week with plenty of flexibility to accommodate your class schedule.
Assist with general HR functions, which may include maintaining databases and personnel files, organizing new hire orientations, supporting employee benefit administration, data entry, compiling and reviewing metrics, planning company meetings and events, and other miscellaneous HR functions as assigned
Provide regular administrative and operational support for the HR Manager
Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes to improve efficiency and enhance employee relations
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, or a related field
Rising junior, senior, or graduate student strongly preferred
Good communication (verbal and written), data entry and clerical skills required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including: Word, Outlook and Excel
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to work on several projects concurrently
