Five Guys was looking to invest in new web technologies to update the company’s web presence, enhance customer engagement and their brand, and provide additional value to their employees and franchisees. One of the main business goals in revamping the site was to create a unified platform standardizing all of the content and web assets for all US based stores, as well as their global expansion into Europe and the Middle East.
RDA helped Five Guys implement a robust website on Sitecore 8. The new site offers updated branding and multilingual functionality. RDA was responsible for several key items including providing two-way social integration, and deployment in Microsoft Azure.
A multilingual architecture, workflow and security were put in place, implementing best practices based on the culture of your computer to display the appropriate version. Knowledge transfer and training were also a part of the team’s project deliverables.
Five Guys can now provide fine grained control to their different regions to update content while keeping their overall branding consistent. The site enables Five Guys to capture and analyze fan behavior which is then used to further enhance the online experiences, allowing them to build deeper relationships with their fans.
They can also easily share content on their website across their social channels to reach a wider fan audience. A new store finder allows fans and new customers to quickly locate their nearest Five Guys for a burger and fry fix! If you are a Five Guys Fanatic, you can prove it and submit a photo and social share of enjoying yourself at Five Guys and every Friday they will select a loyal fan to be their Friday Fanatic!
