Challenge:
As Dorel experienced an industry-wide shift to online sales, high-end retailers were selling more bikes than they could supply. Dorel needed a system that would respond quickly to price changes and rapidly-moving inventory.
Solution:
RDA started a multi-year strategic relationship by producing a long-term strategic roadmap, performing an Azure migration, and building a custom Sitecore site that uses Coveo and includes up-to-date pricing checks, inventory checks, and included sustained integration for unique orders, such as those that implemented monthly payments or required unique shipping.
Outcome:
With a new, custom solution, Dorel was given the flexibility and tools they needed to begin an ecommerce journey that revamped RDA implemented Sitecore Experience Commerce 9 and migrated Dorel’s B2B site onto the platform. Prior to the migration, Dorel Sports was managing two versions of Sitecore to host B2B and B2C web properties.
